This week we celebrated fifty-eight years since the liberation of Yerushalayim. Rosh Yeshiva HaRav Aharon Friedman spoke about the special connection between the Shmuel Hanavi, Yerushalayim, and the redemption of Israel. The Yeshiva held a special Tefila accompanied by singing and dancing. At the festive meal that was held later with the participation of the rabbeim and students, we were honored to host Maj. (res.) Davidi Ben Zion, deputy and acting head of the Samaria Regional Council, who shared with us his personal experiences from the war in the Gaza, as deputy commander of Battalion 71.
