Dear Alumni and Friends,
On Thursday, Tu B'Shvat, January 25th, we held a day of activities in which 60 alumni,
friends and their families participated.
friends and their families participated.
We started out at Yeshiva with breakfast and a sicha by the Rosh Yeshiva Rav Aharon Friedman.
We heard from talmidim of the Yeshiva who returned from the war to go straight back to the Beit Midrash at KBY, and we listened to their experiences.
Elisheva Chanimov, wife of Kerem B'Yavneh avreich, Har'el Chanimov described the challenges a family faces when the husband/father is
away on reserve duty for a lengthy period of time.

The children prepared packages and letters for the 20 families of the reservists who live on campus.
We were privileged to plant roses in the Yeshiva's garden in honor of Tu B'Shvat (a most suitable time to sow and plant). We dedicated the planting of the roses in memory of the baby, Judith Statman, daughter of Yoni and Rita Statman, who passed away just over a month ago. Rav Blachman shared words before the event.
We traveled to Moshav Bnei Ezra for agricultural volunteering and then we drove up to Mt. Gilboa to visit and prepare a barbecue the soldiers serving in the Jenin area.
The day was impactful, powerful and inspiring.
