After Pesach, the overseas students went to the Golan for a tiyul up North. They were accompanied by Rav Stav, and the madrich, Yochanan Kafka. The tiyul included various hikes in the mountainous areas by Nachal Elal and Nachal Yehudiya where everyone had a chance to take a refreshing swim. They stayed in Eilonei HaBashan and toured the old city of Katzrin and the winery of the Golan. The tiyul came to a close with a fun kayaking trip on the Jordan River highlighted by a surprise visit by the menahel, Rav Ari Katz, and Rav Zahtz, Sgan Mashgiach. Everyone left the water and the tiyul having had a great time and enthusiastic about starting the next zman.
