The Overseas Students spent the morning of Yom HaShoah learning some of the lessons of the Holocaust. With a visit to the Shem Olam Holocaust Museum and educational center, the students heard lectures and viewed exhibits that focus on Jewish spiritual resistance and endurance in the face of the greatest adversity. Shem Olam works to present the often-overlooked heroism of Europe's Jews in our most trying hour, the story of faith and mesirat nefesh to be loyal to Torah when the Holocaust was raging.
