On the fourth night of Chanukah, the Yeshiva held its annual Chanukah celebration and ceremony for the distribution of achievement prizes. Approximately 80 prizes were awarded to students who excelled on exams on Massechet Bava Batra, and the Rosh Hayeshiva spoke about the importance of regular and repeated review of one’s learning. Three students were also recognized for their essays in a contest annually held as a merit for the MIA Yehuda Katz, a yeshiva student and IDF soldier missing since the first Lebanon War.  Accompanied by a lively band, the talmidim danced and celebrated Chanukah late into the night.
