In Memory of our Fallen Soldiers
Gavriel Kraus
Born on the second of Adar, 5732
"Ascended to Heaven in a tempest" in the bus bombing in Jerusalem on the 5th of Adar, 5756
Gavriel, h'yd, the son of Michael and Yehudit Kraus, was literally G-d's hero [the translation of his Hebrew name] in his studies at the Yeshiva High School Chorev in Jerusalem, and was well liked by all of his friends. He always knew how to assist each and every friend and person that needed help with anything. He was naturally quiet, and because of his modesty, his organization of many activities involving help and charity for the community, as well as social activities, was never known.
In everything that he did, Hashem helped him succeed, whether in his studies at Yeshivat Kerem B'Yavneh or in his military service in the armored corps.
A happy heart and a smile symbolized Gabi more than anything else, and were especially felt during his friends' celebrations.
On the 5th of Adar, 5756, on his way to reserve duty, the thread of his young life was cut short, in the murderous attack on bus line 18 in Jerusalem.
May His Memory Be Blessed
