This Sunday we had the wonderful opportunity to celebrate Yom Yerushalaim in the holy city. The talmidim boarded the buses early in the morning in order to be at the kotel for shacharit. There they joined the annual minyan that includes all of the Hesder yeshivot, and is joined by the Chief Rabbi of Israel and other dignitaries.

After the beautiful unified davening, the yeshiva broke up into groups for a tour around the old city. This years tour was focused on Har Habayit, and the guides took everyone to different vantage points and gates that lead to the makom hamikdash. The talmidim were all inspired by this special tour to a greater yearning for the geulah shleima.
