Friday night Rav Schachter gave a sichah in the Beit Medrash. He spoke about the great significance of the study of Torah and the responsibility of those who study and teach Torah to follow the mesorah of their teachers.

After the seudah, Rav Schachter gave a shiur in English to the overseas students on Masechet Bava Metzia. The shiur was followed by a tish for the entire Yeshiva. Rav Schachter began with divrei torahon Parshat Chayei Sarah and then allowed time for students to ask questions on topics of halachah andhashkafah.

Shabbat morning Rav Schachter gave a shiur to the entire Yeshiva about the halachot of keri’at ha’torah.

Rav Schachter gave a sichah at seudah shelishit about the importance and significance of tefillah.​
